Course duration = three days.
Upon completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

- Apply basic principles and practices to health & safety issues
- Set and plan health & safety objectives
- Recognise work place risks and implement appropriate control measures
- Investigate and report on accidents and near misses
Course Content
The IOSH Managing Safely course is split into 7 modules:
- Module 1: Introducing Managing Safely
- Module 2: Assessing Risks
- Module 3: Controlling Risks
- Module 4: Understanding your Responsibilities
- Module 5: Identifying Hazards
- Module 6: Investigating Accidents and Incidents
- Module 7: Measuring Performance

Agility can deliver the IOSH Managing Safely course at your premises, tailored to suit your business. We can be flexible on how you want the three days delivered, whether it’s a block of three consecutive days, or one day a week over three weeks. We will have the ability to focus the course scenarios and examples on your business, which will keep the course relevant, interactive and interesting for your employees. In addition to this, we can take your employees in to their work area and conduct some practical activities such as hazard spotting and completing risk assessments.
We can guarantee you one fixed price for the course, as we do not charge separately for any travel or lodging expenses that we incur.
Assessment & Certification
Each delegate will need to pass a two-stage assessment to complete the course and successful candidates will receive an IOSH accredited certificate; this is made up of a short exam and a risk assessment project.
Certificates are valid for three years and to ensure that they remain valid, a one-day refresher course will need to be attended prior to the expiry date.
