First Aid at Work

Our First Aid at Work course is run over 3 days and includes both theory and practical sessions. It is delivered by trainers who have over 20 years of front line emergency medical experience as ambulance paramedics and technicians, allowing us to blend our knowledge with real life experiences. In addition to the topics covered on the Emergency First Aid at Work course, this also covers treatment for a variety of injuries and medical conditions.

Course content 

This course is carried out over 3 days and includes:
• Accidents and illness
• Using a first aid kit
• Simple record keeping
• Treatment of an unconscious casualty
• Heart attacks
• Resuscitation
• Shock / Choking / Seizures / Bleeding
• Burns and scalds
• Poisoning
• Fractures
• Asthma
• Severe allergic reaction
• Eye injuries
• Low blood sugar
• Fainting
