Site Evaluations

It is essential that health and safety site evaluations are undertaken periodically to firstly understand your current standards / position in relation to meeting legislative requirements and best practice / industry standards and also identifying any significant / immediate hazards posing harm to employees or others.

The evaluation will then assist you in planning forwards the development of your health and safety systems ensuring continual development is maintained to reduce risk to your business and delegating to key persons SMART objectives.

Evaluations should be reviewed periodically by both internal and external personnel to ensure changes i.e. business developments are identified and to ensure that progress is maintained.

Complacency is health and safety’s worse enemy, which is why it is often more beneficial for external professionals to conduct these evaluations (i.e. a fresh set of eyes).

At Agility Risk & Compliance, our professional team of qualified health and safety professionals can carry out full health and safety evaluations at one or all of your premises.

These evaluations would cover all the physical parts of the premises, and work activities, as well as pertinent health and safety documentation i.e. risk assessments, safe systems of work, statutory inspections, policies, etc.

Full reports are produced in a user friendly format (no legislative jargon) that detail the following:

  • Observations made and hazards identified
  • Level of risk (High, Medium or Low)
  • Straight forward and practical solutions / recommendations that are necessary to ensure ongoing legal compliance and best practice / industry standards

The reports are provided electronically with a quick view action plan in word format that allows you to update and record progress made.

Site evaluations are essential and can provide additional evidence that an employer is fulfilling their legal obligations to provide adequate health and safety information and training to employees and subcontractors.

Full reports are produced following the inspection in a user-friendly format (no legislative jargon) that detail the following:

  • Observations made and hazards identified
  • Level of risk (high, medium or low)
  • Straightforward and practical recommendations to mitigate risk and improve compliance

The reports are provided electronically with a quick view action plan in Word format that allows you to update and record progress made.

Why undertake Site Inspections?

Unlike a Health & Safety audit which tends to be an annual occurrence, our Site Inspections are regular monitoring visits and are fundamental for the safeguarding of sites and are in line with CDM Regulations.

With our extensive knowledge, we can help your Site Managers understand their health and safety responsibilities whilst ensuring legal compliance and industry best practices are adhered to, avoiding the common pitfalls associated with site activities.

We understand that every site is different, so we provide unbiased, pragmatic and jargon-free inspection reports detailing our findings including shortcomings with improvement plans whilst also recognising good practice.
