Safety Records

Safety records can be utilised to record the way in which you are carrying out work activities and also help you assess how well the risks are being controlled and if you are achieving your aims. In some circumstances formal audits may be useful and may need to be carried out by competent persons. Safety records can be linked to your Safety Arrangements.

Examples of Safety records would include:

• Internal Safety Monitoring Checklists
• Day to day safety records for the recording of activities conducted/monitored, including training records, maintenance of equipment, accident investigations, pre-use inspections, ladder inspections etc.
