Basic skills like computer proficiency, good standard of English, conversational skills and social awareness go along way when looking for a job” Keith Townsend said.
“Being alert in school and college is very important, not only to engage with other students and teachers, but to be able to get the confidence to ask those silly questions. No questions is ever silly! Being inquisitive is a wonderful attribute to have.”
The stand will offered practical advice on how to be “employable”, informed attendees about what the brands do and why. The team also had an assortment of fun activities to get involved in, with prizes to be won from a Slime Factory to a Young Drivers experience. With over 200 entries the team have their hands full selecting a winner!
